You may have wondered about the different Savannah cat coat colors and patterns. All are beautiful and unique – some are what we call permissible, meaning they are eligible to show in TICA and others are non-permissible or non-standard, as they are often referred to. The proper term is non-permissible! Warm or Cool Black or Brown Spotted, Melanistic, Silver and Smoke are Permissible Colors, eligible to be shown in TICA (The International Cat Association) – any other color cannot be shown in TICA – yet!
